The current managing directors, Dr. Achim and Dr. Christian Preuss-Neudorf,
are managing the family business in the 4th generation now.
This is one of the reasons why we focus on people as individuals.
The name Preuss-Neudorf has been connected with our company for more than
100 years. At that time, Alfred Preuss-Neudorf took over the publishing
bookshop Trewendt & Granier´s and developed it into the leading one in Wroclaw.
His two great-grandchildren, the brothers Achim and Christian Preuss-Neudorf,
are running the business with the same determination as their great-grandfather did.
Christian Preuss-Neudorf studied law in Munich, while his brother Achim
Preuss-Neudorf applied himself to the studies of electrical engineering
and economics in the cities of Bonn, Cologne and
Erlangen as well as book science in Mainz. They both concluded their
studies with a graduation about media in their respective
fields. After the German re-unification, the two brothers
organised a congress on information technology in Leipzig and started to
get involved in their father's business in 1991. Since then, they
form a well-operating team and have clearly divided the different business
divisions.
They developed the company from a traditional
bookseller and library service provider to one of the leading
providers of electronic media procurement and management in the German-speaking
area.
