Our catalogue contains 4.2 million products ranging from books to
newspapers, magazines, loose-leaf editions, online documents
and CD-ROM databases. On average, we deliver approximately 400,000
books and subscriptions to more than 3,800 customers. Our company
developed out of a publishing bookshop which was founded in 1845. Our
head office is in Cologne (Germany) with branches in
Berlin, Bonn, Dresden and Leipzig. In the financial year 2006, we generated a
turnover of more than 20 million euro.
According to our motto "consult, order, deliver, account,
report", we implement integrated process chains for the
the international media procurement and its management. Our solution
will be integrated in customer ERP and e-procurement systems
as well as in existing work flows. Besides the purchasing of individual products,
it also covers the subscription management for all print media as well as
the management for in-house literature collections. 80 per cent of the media ordered
will arrive at the customer by the next working day. As an alternative to electronic
billing by the supplier, payment orders can also be issued automatically after the
the customer has received the goods by using a credit note procedure. Extensive
report functions allow transparency for orderers, buyers, accounting and controlling.
With the electronic procurement and management of media, our customers can reduce their
costs and increase the value out of the products they purchased.
