Amelia Frost is a police officer for the Chicago police department supernatural department. Amelia lives a double life hiding who she really is as she tries to come to terms with herself. She lives in the human world but works within the world of the supernaturals. The world she works in is filled with vampires and lycanthropes living regular lives among humans. She works directly with the leader of the Chicago coven; a vampire named Luis. Not only does she work closely with him but she shares his bed as well as many others.
